Public service commission conducts exam, takes interview of the candidates and publishes the vacation of government offices. The candidates who pass the exam can be appointed to the respective government offices where they want to join.
Besides civil service, many people work in others governmental sectors like an army, police etc. There are certain rules from which people can get into those sectors. People should give possess certain qualification and should give the exam and pass the examination given by the respective sectors which they want to join. People also work in other different corporations like Nepal Electricity Authority, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Drinking Water Corporation, Telecom, Nepal Oil Corporation etc.
